ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

Founded by Nunzi De Siervo and Dawud Ali, the Foundation confronts two urgent crises inside our care system: the burnout of nurses and caregivers, and the growing isolation of older adults. Our Sanctuary Model is built directly into the workday delivering nurses immediate relief, grounded presence, and a recovery space before exhaustion becomes collapse. Simultaneously, our touch-based approach brings companionship and emotional support to isolated seniors.

Our work strengthens the entire care ecosystem by reducing burnout, improving retention, restoring emotional resilience, and returning compassionate touch where it has been missing. Founded in honor of Co-Founder Nunzi De Siervo’s mother, whose legacy inspires every part of our mission.
